I have traveled the world and have stayed at all kinds of hotels. When I was younger, I just wanted a hotel room with a private bathroom in a good location. Now that I am older, I do need more comfort and I have some expectation of style and panache. However, I do feel, like in real estate, location is the most important aspect of my enjoying a hotel. I want it close to the best restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping and yet far from the maddening crowds. (Away from the tourist hordes)
