Mid 30's traveller wanting to see lots of the world before he pops his clogs.

I'm equally happy to travel by myself or to holiday with friends or family. My preferred type of trip would steer away from the obvious tourist trail a little and I always book my holidays independantly - never as a package deal.

I'm a huge fan of the Rough Guide books and I'm unlikely to visit anywhere for more than a few days without buying the relevant guide.

When travelling on my own my trips have a more cultured slant (particularly in Italy, my favourite country), but I'm just as comfortable enjoying a few days at Disney World.

2008 holidays will be day trips to Milan & Pisa and three nights in Venice (all with my brother), and 2 and a half weeks travelling around Florida with friends.
