How can I update my e-mail address?

It's easy to update your e-mail address for your TripWatch subscription. Click here. You will be prompted to sign in if you have not already. Once you sign in, you should be in the Account Info section of your Member Profile. Click on the 'Edit' link, then enter your new e-mail address in the field where it says 'Add another:'. Click the 'Add' button to update your account information, then click the 'Make Primary' link. This will change the primary e-mail address for your account. You will not receive any e-mails from TripAdvisor at your secondary e-mail address.

How can I change the destinations I'm watching?

It's easy! Click here. You will be prompted to sign in if you have not already. Once you sign in, you will be taken you to the Subscriptions tab, where you can add or remove TripWatch locations. To remove a location, find it in the TripWatch E-mail section; check the box next to it in the Remove column; and click the 'Update' button. To add a location, click on the 'Add locations' link under your existing Watched Locations and either select from the dropdown of our most popular destinations or search for the destination or property in the Search box.
Once you have entered the name of the location that you would like to add in the Search box, you will be redirected to the Search results. If you see the destination or property you were looking for, click on the 'Select' link next to it to automatically add it to your TripWatch locations. Once you're finished, click on the 'Close' button and the Search box will disappear. That's all you need to do!

The links in my TripWatch don't work! Help!

If you're trying to click on something that looks like this http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/pages/privacy.html but it's not underlined in your mail message window, your e-mail program is not recognising that the link is a hyperlink. Please copy the entire link and paste it into the address field of your web browser window.

I just want to unsubscribe. Can I do that?

What's the difference between the HTML and text versions of TripWatch?

HTML e-mail contains both images and links; basically, it just looks prettier. Both versions contain the same text — the HTML one just has a more stylish appearance. |

Which TripWatch format should I pick?
|
|
That's up to you. HTML messages are nicer to look at, but they're larger files, so if you have a slow connection, the text version of TripWatch may be your best bet. If you've never received an e-mail message containing images or links within the message itself, you might not be set up to receive HTML messages. If you really don't know, we'd recommend selecting the HTML option. You can always switch back to text later.

How do I change the format of my TripWatch?

Are you going to sell my name to anyone?
|

No. Cross our hearts and hope to die. We hate spam as much as you do, and we're not going to sell your name so someone else can clog up your e-mail box.

I keep getting an "invalid e-mail address" error. What does that mean? |
|
It means that we don't recognize your e-mail address as a registered TripAdvisor user, or we think you're mistyping your e-mail address. Please double-check to make sure you've typed your e-mail address correctly and that you haven't included any spaces. If you're still having trouble, send us an e-mail, tell us what's going on, and we'll be happy to look into it.
